What if…

  • Jewish Los Angeles had a home for innovative new ideas and projects…?
  • Anyone with a great new idea for Jewish LA had a support system for getting started…?
  • Jewish professionals and lay leaders from every sector of the community had somewhere to gather, to work, to collaborate, and to build the Los Angeles Jewish community?

For the past two years, Jumpstart has been working with a cadre of leaders and experts in Los Angeles and nationwide to bring this vision to life. J Space beta has launched in Century City as a pilot program to begin the work, build support, and create a living hub for Jewish innovation in Los Angeles.

J Space is a Multi-Tenant Nonprofit Center that advances creativity, community, and collaboration among innovative new and emerging nonprofit initiatives in the Los Angeles Jewish community. With permanent and drop-in work areas, a work lounge, conference room and fully equipped business center, J Space beta will be the nexus for Jewish creativity in Los Angeles.

The idea is to create a shared workspace, education and resource center that brings together all segments of the Jewish community, secular and religious, cultural and ethnic, established and emerging.
