About
Despite the recent proliferation of Jewish start-ups and growth of emerging organizations in the greater Los Angeles area, up until now there is has been no comprehensive community-sponsored support system to help them enter the marketplace, pilot programs, and ultimately achieve scale and sustainability.
J Space beta creates a community of innovators that is multi-generational, includes startups and established organizations and which reaches all segments of the Jewish community, secular and religious, cultural and ethnic, established and emerging.
J Space beta serves as the launchpad for a full-scale implementation of the J Space vision, a combination of permanent and temporary office space, shared facilities and services, and a center that provides ongoing education and organizational development to support local Jewish nonprofits. Organizations and individuals (including freelancers) can make use of J Space beta, and ultimately, J Space, in a variety of ways: from having dedicated office space, to making use of drop-in work/meeting space, to access to shared professional staff, to attending educational workshops and seminars.
